I’m Sierra Sophia Mercier and welcome to my site!
A little bit about me… I grew up in the beautiful, quiet town of Sun Valley, Idaho. There my athleticism was nurtured while racing downhill on the ski team, performing with the ballet school, as well as competing on ice for the Sun Valley Figure Skating Club. Skating became my true passion and I pursued it full time, eventually leaving home at 16 on my own to train at a world class facility in Lake Arrowhead, California. I competed successfully at the elite level for over 10 years and became a Triple Gold Medalist with the US Figure Skating Association. Ultimately, however, my Olympic dreams were dashed by an unforgiving ankle injury. This detour in my career path lead me to discover my love of acting.
Since moving to Los Angeles, I’ve had the opportunity to study and train at many different studios, but I have found my home at The Imagined Life with Diana Castle. It was there that I truly learned the art of empathy, and what it means to step into another person’s shoes through the power of my imagination. This work has not only changed who I am as an actor, but it has transformed me fundamentally as a human being.
As an actor, I always strive to capture and tell the unseen story. What is not necessarily written on paper, but is imbued in the story beyond the words. I’ve been a practicing Buddhist since 2008 and feel that this undercurrent of philosophy colors all my characters with a flavor of mysticism and sophistication.
I can also be a goofball though, and am a resident cast member of Los Angeles’s longest running live sketch comedy show, TMI Hollywood.
Because Hollywood doesn’t wait, and a creator must create, I have 4 different digital series floating around.
Love Set Run is an inspiring travel series that my husband and I film and produce. We backpacked around the world in 2017 volunteering with different organizations and filmed it all to encourage people to make traveling altruistic, while simultaneously highlighting the beauty and wonder of our planet.
Animal Medicine with Wise Mountain is my newest series sharing the practice of Native American Animal Medicine which teaches that by tuning into the guidance of our animal brothers and sisters, we can deepen our connection and understanding of the profound world around us.
True Love Lessons with Sierra is a series produced and distributed by Love TV wherein I share my tips and advice on love and relationships based on my own true love experience.
I wrote a book! “How To Attract Your Cosmic Love Partner” is my five-step guided workbook available on Amazon to help you become the most loving version of yourself to attract the most loving partner.
It’s a Mouthful with The Taste Buds is a comedic food review show where my partner and I taste live on camera odd and obscure fruits and veggies. We give our review and share nutritional facts encouraging you to eat healthier one weird food at a time. The show is sponsored by Imperfect Produce.
Interesting facts about me…
I am a senior level Muay Thai fighter having had my fighting debut in Las Vegas in 2010. I have also studied Hapkido, Kali, and dabbled in several other martial art forms including Taiji Quan and MMA.
I am an award winning floral designer and the owner of Buddha Blooms where I’m happy to exceed all your floral needs!
I am the crowned “Miss Congeniality” and “2013 Miss Mongolia” of the Queen of the Universe Pageant.
In 2013, my husband Andre and I were the first ever winners of The Knot Dream Wedding, a $100,000 sponsored wedding prize package awarded to one lucky couple. Click that link to see more!
